Stouts Hill

Having taken on Stouts Hill as a project and painstakingly carried out a back to brick restoration there are so many things which we’ve loved about this house. The character and soul are hard to ignore. I think if we had to pick one thing that we love most it would be the light. The house sits in the most enchanting valley and in the morning light floods through the house as the sun comes up over the hills. In the evenings, the view is almost even better as the rear of the house is completely lit up due to its west facing orientation. This side also gives us some of the most special sunsets as it dips below the hills in the distance giving a reflection off the lake.
