Blue Book Agency becomes a Corporate Member of The Georgian Group

Blue Book Agency, the boutique consultancy specialising in the sale of Britain’s most historically significant homes across both the countryside and London, has become a Corporate Supporter of The Georgian Group, the national charity dedicated to preserving Georgian architecture and heritage.

Corporate Supporters uphold the Group’s values and commitment to protecting Britain’s architectural legacy. Supporters recognise their alignment with the charity’s mission, joining a network of some of the country’s leading specialists in architecture, conservation, and design.

Through its support, Blue Book will help further the Group’s conservation work while gaining access to its expert network, research resources and events programme. Supporters are invited to exclusive talks, lectures and behind-the-scenes visits to some of the nation’s finest Georgian houses, as well as opportunities to engage directly with architects, historians, and conservation professionals.

Blue Book joins an esteemed roster of Corporate Supporters, including:

  • ADAM Architecture – a leading architectural practice widely respected for sensitive work on historic and heritage buildings.
  • Guild Anderson – award-winning designers and makers of bespoke kitchens and furniture for period and listed homes.
  • Farrers – one of London’s oldest law firms, known for its expertise in private client work, heritage property and estate management.

George Nares, co-founder of Blue Book Agency, commented: “We’re delighted to join The Georgian Group as a Corporate Supporter. Much of our work celebrates Georgian and early Victorian architecture, so our values are very much aligned. Many buyers of historic homes want access to the right knowledge and guidance when it comes to restoration and stewardship, and The Georgian Group represents the gold standard in that world.

The Group’s dedication to protecting our architectural heritage resonates deeply with us and with many of our clients, who see themselves as custodians of these remarkable buildings. This membership enables us to support our clients through a rich network of those who are the very best in their field.”

Anya Lucas, Director of The Georgian Group, said: “We are delighted to welcome Blue Book to our circle of corporate members. By joining us in this way, Blue Book is providing very meaningful support for our mission to protect and promote Georgian heritage; a cause we know they, like us, care deeply about.

Last year the Georgian Group assessed nearly 6,000 planning applications and provided expert advice on almost 1,000 cases — yet we face a 75% shortfall in the funding of our national conservation advice. We encourage anyone who shares our belief that Georgian architecture deserves not just admiration but active protection to join us’.
